Digital PR, HARO, Guest Post & Niche Edits

Skills Training Group is a national training provider offering a range of courses for gas engineers, plumbers, electricians and first aiders. We were challenged with building a link profile that would allow them to compete again industry mammoths who gained links naturally through being a charity. The challenge was tough, but not insurmountable. In the end, we delivered incredible results.

Digital PR

Digital PR was utilized to grow the overall authority of the domain with mostly home page links, but also links to some of the inner pages. As Skills Training Group was a multi-niche domain, this gave us lots of great angles for Digital PR.

HARO

10 links per month were built using HARO which also helped to grow the overall authority of the domain.

Guest Posts

Guest posts were particularly useful for inner pages (commercial pages) that are harder to land top tier PR links on. We used a mixture of high DR non-niche websites and also low to high DR niche relevant websites to guest post on.

Niche Edits

Niche edits were also used for inner pages (commercial pages). Niche edits on exisiting posts allowed us to scale links quickly to inner pages on URL's that were already aged on the SERP.

220% Traffic Increase for Skills Training Group

The results we achieved for Skills Training Group were nothing short of incredible. Over a period of 18 months, we built 500 new referring domains which resulted in a 66 DR website, capable of challenging anyone in their niche. Revenue was also up 332% for their first aid training product which was a major KPI for their link building campaign.
